“I am really passionate about helping people perform better through improved movement and integration. Strength, fitness, power, etc…it all comes together after good function has been established. I have a very strong postural approach because of this. I also look at how the body is functioning as a ‘whole’ and investigate movement patterns, respiratory patterns, stability patterns etc”.
I guess one of the benefits I have as a practitioner, is that I am not detached from the demands of being a high-performance athlete. I have medalled at World Championships. I know what it takes to be the best. All of the strategies, the planning, the goals, the tricks of the trade, these are tools that I provide athletes in addition to specific exercise training”.

what is an AEP
What is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist
AEPs have completed at least 4 years of University education in Sport and Exercise Science or Human Movement. “Accredited’ means that the Exercise Physiologist is recognised and registered with the National Governing Body ESSA (Exercise and Sport Science Australia). To be registered with ESSA, Exercise Physiologists undergo strict continued learning and development requirements and accreditation processes.
Exercise Physiologists learn about ALL the systems in the body – the respiratory system, the cardiovascular system, the endocrine system, the muscular system, the nervous system, etc. We then learn about how we can influence these systems through exercise to improve health, function and performance.
